Our Mission Statement
The Christian Learning Center is a ministry that provides a Christian environment designed around the developmental needs and interests of preschool children while nurturing their spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and social growth.
About Christian Learning Center
CLC is registered with DSS and DHEC as a registered church facility. Maintaining a low student/teacher ratio enables CLC to best meet the needs of our children. We take pride in providing a dedicated, qualified and enthusiastic staff. This is essential to CLC in order to maintain a positive and nurturing environment.
Our Curriculum
Each CLC classroom has a set of age appropriate objectives.
All classrooms utilize centers during the day to reinforce the particular theme for the week. Both hands-on experiences and a wide variety of manipulative are encouraged to reinforce concepts and ideas. In addition to the cognitive development of each child, we feel it is essential to provide opportunities for creative play. Age appropriate enrichment activities are also included in our program. Theme-related field trips and classroom visitors are an important part of the CLC curriculum.
Our school provides opportunities which encourage each child’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. To develop a positive attitude toward Christian life, we attend chapel in our “Worship Center” once a week. The time spent worshipping together is filled with prayer, a Bible story and lively interactive Bible songs. CLC provides a music class and a Physical Education class once a week.

CLC follows the Dorchester school District II calendar for planned school and weather closings. In the event of severe weather, listen to your radio and follow the District II directions.
Monthly Tuition Rates (effective 9/2011)
Non-Refundable Registration Fee $95.00
Rates vary from $125 to $250 per month, varying by age and program. We have options for Two year olds, K-3 and K-4 students.
*10% discount for a 2nd child and a 20% discount for a 3rd child in the family. There is a 5% discount for full tuition payment.

Outreach 
In 2011, St. Paul's Christian Learning Center gave one fourth of the Silent Auction proceeds, or $3,250, to the St. Paul's Haiti Ministry. CLC has partnered with the Haiti Ministry since 2006 and has given a total of $13,875 in that period. Using the theme "From our school to your school," funds go toward school supplies, student scholarships, and mission projects.
